What to do if your installation link has expired
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Installation links for travel eSIMs are single-use. If your link is no longer working (you may see an "expired" or "invalid" error on your device, most often because the code was already used on another device), you'll need to request a replacement.
How to request a replacement eSIM
In most cases you can request a replacement eSIM directly from within the app.
Open the app → Travel → select your subscription → Settings → Replace eSIM.
If the replacement option is not available in the app, contact support through the Get Help or Help option within the app.
What to expect after requesting a replacement
Once your replacement is processed, you will receive a new installation link. Your original link will no longer be valid — do not attempt to use it again.
When your new link arrives, make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection before starting the installation. eSIM installation requires Wi-Fi and cannot be completed on mobile data alone.
