My eSIM is showing an invalid or activation error

If you see an error message during eSIM installation, use this guide to identify and fix the issue.
Common errors

QR code already used / Invalid QR code | Profile already downloaded once | Request a new QR code through the app |
Unable to complete cellular plan change (iPhone) | Device carrier-locked | Check Carrier Lock in Settings → General → About |
Couldn't add mobile plan / Activation failed (Android) | Device locked or connectivity issue | Confirm device is unlocked and on stable Wi-Fi |
SIM not supported / Device not compatible | Device incompatible or region-restricted | Check EID via *#06# — if no EID, device does not support eSIM |
No activation code found (iPhone) | iOS version below 12.1 | Update iOS via Settings → General → Software Update |
