Check the right country before you buy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Before buying your travel eSIM, check that the plan covers the countries you'll actually be visiting. your travel eSIM plans are tied to specific regions, and a plan bought for one region won't work in another.
How to check coverage before you buy
- Look at the country or region the plan name covers.
- If you're visiting more than one country, look for a multi-country or regional plan that includes all of them.
- If you're not sure, contact us before purchasing.
What happens if you buy the wrong region
A plan bought for one region (for example, Mexico) won't activate or won't connect in another (for example, Chile), even if both are in the same continent. The eSIM is provisioned against a specific carrier footprint.
If you already bought the wrong one, see the article below on what to do.
