How do I turn roaming on or off?

Last updated: June 24, 2026

For a travel eSIM, roaming controls are in your device settings — not in the app.

Turn roaming ON for your travel eSIM

iPhone: Settings → Cellular → tap your travel eSIM → turn on Data Roaming

Android / Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM card manager → tap travel eSIM → enable Data roaming

Turn roaming OFF on your home SIM (recommended)

To prevent your regular carrier from charging you for international roaming:

iPhone: Settings → Cellular → tap your home SIM → turn off Data Roaming

Android: Settings → Connections → SIM card manager → tap home SIM → turn off Data roaming

After enabling roaming

If you do not connect automatically within a few minutes, restart your device. You can also manually select a network: Settings → Cellular / Mobile network → Network selection → turn off Automatic → choose an available network.
