Why is my data usage not updating?

If the data usage shown in your account or app hasn't moved despite using data, that's almost always normal. Usage on your travel eSIM can take up to 24 hours to appear because the underlying carrier reports usage to us in batches.
What this means
- Data you used today may not show up until tomorrow.
- Your plan's allowance is available in real time, the lag is only in what's displayed to you.
- If your plan has a data cap and you're close to it, factor in that recent usage may not yet be reflected.
When to contact us
If usage hasn't updated for more than 24 hours, or if the figure looks wrong (way higher than what you actually used, or showing activity you don't recognise), contact us and we'll investigate.
