Which network will my travel eSIM connect to?
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Your travel eSIM connects to the best available local partner network in the country you are visiting. It switches automatically between carriers to give you the strongest signal — you do not need to choose one manually.
The network name on your phone may change
Because your eSIM can roam across multiple partner networks in the same country, the carrier name displayed on your phone may change as you move between cities or regions. This is normal behaviour and not a sign of a problem.
How to keep automatic selection on
iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Network Selection → make sure Automatic is on
Android: Settings → Network & internet → Mobile network → Network operators → select Automatic
Only turn off automatic selection if you are troubleshooting a connection issue.
Can I choose a specific network?
Yes, but it is not necessary for most users. If you are troubleshooting and want to try a specific carrier manually, go to the network selection setting above, turn off Automatic, and choose from the list of available networks in your area. Switch back to Automatic once connected.
